Have you accomplished enough to be happy?
The answer to this question is an undeniable YES! There is no neurological research, psychological study, or spiritual tradition that equates happiness with a level of accomplishment. Just look at the happiest people you know. They aren’t the same as the most accomplished people you know. That disparity alone tells us we are not made happy by accomplishment.
Having worked with some of the most accomplished people in the world, I can testify that their unhappiness follows them through all of their successes until the underlying cause is addressed. Once the cause is addressed, they start to accomplish even more with enjoyment and ease.
So what else is going on here? What is the underlying cause? Over the next few weeks, we will explore some of the ways we hold our happiness at bay and how it stops us from accomplishing what we want with enjoyment and ease.
We’ll also share a bit about this year’s Master Class and how the course addresses the root causes of unhappiness in our lives. Master Class goes beyond the intellectual understanding that can be found in an email and provides an embodied learning experience so you can go from understanding it to living it.
P.S. Master Class starts June 2nd, and applications open on May 17th. We’ll share all the details soon.
